Don't know why all previous posts are appearing in bold... Oh well... Everyone can still read them!

-Showcase- The contestant that played Penny Ante won her showcase.

Eh, another re-run (that sounds familiar...)

YAWN... Re-run!

Check out the new links on the left! Especially our very first audio clip! Woo-hoo!

Today's episode of The Price is Right of course was another re-run. All 3 people in the showcase showdown won $1,000 on the wheel that was good. One of the contestants went over by $29 on the showcase. Other than that, nothing interesting to report really.

Thursday, July 25

As you all know, today’s airing of The Price is Right was a re-run, just like all of the airings for the rest of the summer and probably through early October. Here’s what happened on today’s show from start to finish:

-Check Game- (Contestant writes the check for $193 too much and loses)

-Let ‘Em Roll- Contestant made perfect bid for a $500 bonus (Contestant wins all 3 rolls, but ends up getting $1,000)

-Buy Or Sell- (Contestant ends up with -$1,000 and loses. Only made 1 correct decision)

-Showcase Showdown- (The contestant that played Let ‘Em Roll wins by spinning $1 and gets $1,000. Bonus spin: Lands on $.80)

-Double Prices- (Contestant picks wrong price and loses)

-Any Number- (Contestant wins the car and plays the game nearly perfectly. Only one wrong number chosen.)

-Secret “X”- (Contestant wins. The Secret X was in the top row)

-Showcase Showdown- (Contestant that played Secret X wins)

-Showcase- (Contestant that played Secret X wins her showcase.)

Wednesday, July 24

Not too much to report in regards to today's re-run. The show started with Golden Road, but the contestant didn't even win the 1st prize. Had a person win $6,000 on the wheel. Those were the highlights of the show really.

Price Launches Model Search

The Price Is Right is undertaking a talent search to select models for the coming season, which resumes taping on August 19.
Finalists in the talent search will appear on a limited number of upcoming shows. Two will be selected to be regulars for the season, replacing Nikki Ziering and Heather Kozar. The new models will join Claudia Jordan, who remains with the show.

"We've been delighted with the contribution both [Ziering and Kozar] have made to our show," said Syd Vinnedge, an executive with FremantleMedia, which produces the series. "We're pleased when our models can use appearances on The Price Is Right as a stepping stone to new and exciting career opportunities. We wish Nikki and Heather well."

If you are interested in applying to be a Barker Beauty, please send a photo and your statistics (height, weight, etc.) to The Price Is Right, c/o Phillip Rossi at "The Price is Right," 2700 Colorado Ave, Suite 450, Santa Monica, Ca. 90404.

Nothing much to report in regards to today's re-run. Safe Crackers was played for a car to start the show and the contestant won so that was good. That's about all other than the showcase contestants winning the showdowns with $.15 and $.25

Repeat... the only surprising fact was that the showcase contestants spun $.15, and $.25 respectively

Monday, July 22

Another re-run...

Nothing special, person winning Cover Up on first chance was story of day...

Friday, July 19

More repeats... Decent show, don't recall what really happened

Look for "Games List" to be up this weekend!

Thursday, July 18

Eh, another repeat, nothing special. Person winning car playing Money Game, person winning Bonkers, some idiot lost It's in the Bag and she claimed to be a grocery bagger. Fourth person won Make Your Move, 5th person lost Pathfinder, and 6th person won Squeeze Play. Should have been perfect show but we have morons as contestants at times.

Wednesday, July 17

Ok, today's how being a repeat, really didn't have any significance...

You know, they played Plinko and moron only won $2,200... Oh well... Both car games were lost as well (Cover-Up and Any Number)

Still working on the site... Check out the new template though!

Tuesday, July 16

As we slowly get the web site itself up and running... here's a sneak peak!

http://tpir.topcities.com/schedule.html

Perfection on a re-run! WOOHOO!

-Barker's Bargain Bar
-Bonkers
-Let 'Em Roll

-Barker's Markers
-Secret X

WOOHOO!!!!!! WE HAD A PERFECT SHOW TODAY!! NOW THIS IS HOW THE PRICE IS RIGHT SHOULD BE ALL THE TIME!

Monday, July 15

Not such a good "new" episode... People must learn how to play simple games such as the Clock Game (Even though Bob possibly cheated) and Hole in One or Two... These people are just sick and should be locked up... Let me on the show, I'll show everyone how it it done.

CBS Daytime | The Price Is Right |
Bob Barker Recovering

Bob Barker was treated on July 10 at The George Washington University Hospital to eliminate the discomfort that often results from an enlarged prostate, known as BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia).
“The procedure went exactly as planned, without complications,” said Michael Manyak, chairman of the department of urology at the hospital. Mr. Barker was sedated during the procedure, which took approximately one hour. “Mr. Barker is resting quite comfortably and I expect him to be up and about very soon with a return to California in a few days.” Barker is expected to make a full recovery.
Barker scheduled the procedure to coincide with the summer hiatus of The Price is Right.

Don't forget to watch tomorrow's Price is Right. You wouldn't want to miss the only episode that isn't a re-run for the rest of the summer.

Saturday, July 13

For those of you who didn't realize this already, Monday's airing of The Price is Right will be an episode that was not shown yet. It's the only one this summer that is not a re-run. If not for George Bush and pre-empting the show excessively, it would have already been aired.

YES! We finally were able to view the Coast Guard primetime special... No thanks to Dubya Bush...

-Woo-hoo! A triple play winner!
-A sad attempt a Plinko (ONLY $2,000! These people make me sick)
-No $100,000 winners on the wheel... Boooooo!
-And the same guy who won Triple Play takes home a Jeep and Ski-Boat in the Showcase for a total prize package of over $110,000! At least someone knows what they are doing...

Bob Barker is recovering well, so I hear... Can't wait to watch some new episodes during the fall... Damn, my study hall is in the spring... Oh well...
