Switch?: Cynthia wins with a “switch”; Grandfather Clock and Home Gym

Showcase Showdown #2: Christi wins with 80 cents

Showcase: Bryan wins ($18,038 in prizes); Dining Room Group, Flatware, and Snowmobile

Bridgett proved herself to be knowledgeable of Lucky 7, especially when Bob asked what she must do if she were to miss the correct digit by 3. Unfortunately, with only four dollars left, she missed the fifth digit in the price of the Jeep by choosing “5”. The only prize to have the right sale price in Clearance Sale was the TV Set. After coming on down, Esperanza came on up and after our host. Bob shielded himself behind a cameraman until Esperanza was calm enough to take her spot in Contestant’s Row. After many expensive European holiday packages, Paul found out in Freeze Frame that the Netherlands are no match. Christi only had to choose the first two digits in the price of the Ford truck on her own. She could have chosen “9” as the second digit, but her familiarity of trucks helped her choose “5”. Cynthia relied on the audience on whether to switch prices or not, but Bob reminded her to go with what she feels is right. She was right to say "switch" after that. Today’s Showcase featured a Boat, Flatware, and a Snowmobile. After becoming $2000 richer on today’s show, Bryan was in the Showcase. His bid of $14,000 was very close, but if it were $15,000 he would have won both Showcases. We end this week’s worth of shows with Bryan and his crew. Good day!

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Any Number: Aaron wins; Pontiac Vibe ($20,421)

1 Right Price: Keri lost; Fireplace Shelf ($3200) and Pool Table

Showcase: Judy wins ($30,080 in prizes); “Post Office Box” Showcase, Trip to New York, New York, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, and Travel Trailer ($33,080)

New small boat owner Cameron was more concerned about wishing his friend a happy 21st birthday than the description of the prizes in Step Up. His first choice was the Tennis Ball Machine, followed by the Accordion (it won him $500) and unfortunately the Dinnerware, which was actually the least expensive prize in Step Up. Proudly wearing a shirt with the Canadian flag, Cheryl went from having one prize with a correct price to winning all 5 prizes in Switcheroo. Patrick bid $75 on a couple of bicycles, followed by Judy’s perfect bid of $800. Judy’s final total of $27.27 in Grocery Game was interesting, but many contestants would prefer $20.20. Judy’s score of 65 cents in Showcase Showdown #1 withstood her fellow contestants. Keri’s had a score of 95 cents in Showcase Showdown #2, but Jamie managed to get 80 and 20 cents in her two spins. Today’s Showcase featured post office boxes, badges, and a Ford Fusion. Jamie overbid on her Showcase with the Ford automobile and Judy leaves today’s show as the top winner.

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Danger Price: Jose wins; Cordless Telephones, Dining Room Table, Golf Equipment (Danger Price $1440), and Luggage

Pick A Pair: Michael wins (Brown Rice and Bleach cost $1.99); Spa

Showcase Showdown #2: Jaclyn wins with 95 cents

Showcase: Jaclyn wins ($17,948 in prizes); Living Room Group, Collection of Novels, and Grand Piano

After his fellow contestants made their bids, including a $1000 bid by Brian, Jose’s bid of $999 on the Elliptical Trainer turned out to be a perfect one. Bob called it an “historic moment”, among many others in Price history. Bearing a blue shirt with a custom made picture of our host (with non-fur “hair”) was Kyle. “You look way better in person”, Kyle said to Bob. After Half Off was revealed, Kyle already chose the box that would turn out to be the one to contain $10,000. Box #4 received more close-ups than any box in the history of Half-Off, I believe. It’s also interesting to note that this was the first time Kyle saw Half Off on the show. Like this writer, Sabrina also loves the Dice Game. Jose’s first spin of the Big Wheel was enough to beat Sabrina, but Kyle “the wonder man of the hour” would shortly after tie Jose’s score of 70 cents and eventually beat him in the Spinoff with 75 cents. In his first play of Line ‘Em Up, Brian did not agree with members of the audience shouting “8” as the second digit in the price of the Ford truck, but after learning that he only two digits correct, he decided to follow the audience advice. He embraced the truck and kissed Bob’s cheek after the win. Michael is a student at Drury University in Illinois, where Bob will be participating in this year’s commencement. We learned during Showcase Showdown #2 that Michael is graduating this May, but has no idea what to do after that with more than one major. Bob suggested that Michael audition for his job, since “everybody else” is doing it. Today’s Showcase featured a Grand Piano, the “Barker’s Palace” hotel, a Woody Woodpecker cartoon short on a Plasma TV, and footage of African wildlife. We end today’s show in front of Jaclyn’s new Living Room Group.

From TMZ.com
