“Welcome, welcome to The Price is Right”, Bob said to today’s audience. Our host reminded Leslie, who does not consider herself a shopper, that she had to spend as much as $6000 to win Shopping Spree. She chose the Hutch over the Picnic Baskets and became today’s first winner on stage. Bob noticed the photograph of himself on the Hutch and jokingly said that it was a young Errol Flynn. Washington, D.C. resident and Maryland native Dorothy somehow missed the Wristwatch featured as today’s second Item Up for Bids, yet she managed to win her way on stage. She took a better look at the Nasal Spray before choosing that item in Grand Game. With $1000 and one item left, Dorothy had a good chance of winning $10,000. Unfortunately, she decided to choose the Gold Bond Lotion over the Tidy Cats litter. “An American legend”, Bruce said to Bob upon his arrival on stage. Immediately after being called to come on down, Benjamin was already being called “Big Ben” by our host. In Race Game, Benjamin had the Popcorn Cart and Server prices beside their respective prizes before pulling the lever the first time to reveal “2”. He realized after pulling the lever the second time (revealed “0”) that the two said prizes had their correct prices. Kimberly’s reaction to the Chevy Aveo (painted in her favorite color of orange, which is also her shirt’s color) was worthy of the extra camera time she got. Melissa (or “Melinda” until Bob discovered her actual name on the nametag) decided that she’s “Going” to bed, specifically the Campy Bed featured in Coming or Going. Kimberly scored 10 cents in both spins of the Big Wheel in Showcase Showdown #2. Today’s Showcase featured rocks, things rhyming with “pie” (including “pi”), and an Italian Holiday package. We end today's show with Benjamin and his crew in front of the Travel Trailer.
