Cover Up: Jonathan lost; Jeep Wrangler ($29,315)
Grand Game: Delilah wins $20,000 (Target Price $7.00)
Double Prices: Linda lost; Ford Mustang ($25,170)
Showcase Showdown #2: Jonathan wins with 75 cents
Showcase: Eccho wins ($109,069 in prizes); Golf Cart and Golf Equipment, Trip to Japan, and Dodge Viper.
Once again, for the fourth Million Dollar Spectacular in a row, Drew made his entrance from the Big Doors with escorts accompanying him along the way. Due to this sort of introduction, no one was near the Motorcycle when it was revealed as tonight’s first Item Up for Bids. After becoming the proud owner of the motor driven cycle (generic name), Kristin became $25,000 richer after lifting the lid of the box bearing her twin sister’s lucky number 16. “Alakazam, lift up the lid!” Kristin shouted after Drew told her what to do. He could barely stand up after Kristin repeated what he said. Elizabeth’s reliance on the audience during 3 Strikes resulted in arguments many of tonight’s viewers may have found entertaining. At the beginning of 3 Strikes, which was played at a quicker pace than usual, Drew found time to mention one of the dresses worn on tonight’s show. By amazing coincidence, Eccho was playing Range Game for a prize “with her name on it”, according to Drew, but it was actually a prize with a similar sounding name (Echo Trailer). Cover Up was tonight’s million dollar game, but based on his strategy Jonathan seemed more interested in winning the Jeep automobile rather than trying to get every number right on the first try to win the money. Unfortunately for Jonathan, the fourth number in the price turned out to be “1”, not another “2”. Delilah almost left Grand Game (or “the $20,000 game”, as Drew called it) with $2000, but changed her mind due to audience reaction and left tonight’s show richer. Linda chose the highest price over the correct price of the Ford Mustang in Double Prices. Tonight’s Showcase featured a Ski Boat, Golf prizes, and a Dodge Viper. Eccho may have underbid on a Showcase that included an automobile worth over $80,000, but Jonathan’s big difference made her the Showcase winner tonight. We end tonight’s show not with a new millionaire, but with a proud new Viper owner at the wheel.
