Breaking News: TPiR director Eskander fired
Thursday, January 15
Last evening, a poster well known for breaking inside information indicated that Price is Right director Bart Eskander had been fired. Marc Greene has since confirmed that he is no longer with the program.
Eskander has been with the program for many years, primarily as an associate director. Eight years ago, he became full director, following in the footsteps of Marc Breslow and Paul Alter; the latter whom was fired by Bob Barker in 2000.
There is still a lot of question as to who the replacement will be, and what it means for the future of the show, which has been through a tumultuous couple of years since the retirement of Barker; which has included significant changes to the show, both on-air, and off.
