For the first time ever, each contestant was accompanied by his or her mother and for the second time ever there were eight persons in Contestant’s Row throughout the show. Richard wore the type of glasses Drew once wore. The loss of the commercial break between Pricing Game #1 and Pricing Game #2 continues. Drew referred to Cliffhangers by both its proper name and as “the yodely guy game”. The host and the contestants were dancing to the yodeling music as the mountain climber moved to his ultimate fate after the first item priced by Maily. “Stop!” Drew constantly said as the mountain climber continued to move. Rich Field’s pronunciation of the name “Mario” is this: “MARE-EE-O”. Drew pronounced it “MAR-EE-O”. Each contestant got to spin the Big Wheel in Showcase Showdown #1. Drew moved the camera once again as he reminded viewers how to obtain tickets to visit the show. After the third commercial break, Drew had the audience in the background and moved his arm up toward them before Rich called the next set of contestants. Drew sounded very excited after the fourth commercial break. “You don’t think this his nine bucks, a box of Cheerios?” Drew asked John and Joyce before revealing the price without hesitation in Grand Game. Drew sounded very disappointed when he revealed the actual retail price for the last group of Items Up for Bids after listening to the most energetic set of contestants on the show today, Sandra and Stephanie. For the time in a long time, someone actually said “that’s too much” with vim, vigor, and vitality, and that person was Justin. The actual price of the Ford Escape was revealed almost instantaneously when the buzzer sound effect was heard. Richard and Marie were on camera discussing a Showcase bid.
